What if God is inviting you to something deeper this year?
What if this next season isn’t just about getting through—but about going deeper?
The Ignatian Exercises, also known as the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, are a structured series of meditations, prayers, and contemplative practices designed to deepen one’s relationship with God and discern God’s will. They are foundational to Ignatian spirituality and were developed in the 16th century.
Purpose
To help individuals grow in spiritual freedom, deepen their personal relationship with God (especially Jesus), and make decisions aligned with God’s desires for them.
The Exercises are not just about prayer but about transformation—helping people reorient their lives around love, service, and the call of Christ.
Opportunities

18th Annotation
The 18th Annotation is a shorter, 3-month version of the Spiritual Exercises. It is a great place to begin if you are not sure you are able to commit to the 19th Annotation. In addition to our weekly hour together (via Zoom or in person), you’ll want to plan for 30–45 minutes of daily prayer and reflection.

19th Annotation
The full 19th Annotation is a 9–12 month journey with bi-weekly sessions. We go at your pace—if we need to slow down, pause, or linger on a particular topic, that’s completely fine. In addition to our weekly hour together (via Zoom or in person), you’ll want to plan for 30–45 minutes of daily prayer and reflection.
“Just wanted to tell you how rewarding, meaningful and spiritually enlightening the retreat was for me. I felt ‘cracked open’ almost instantly and was able to share honestly while participating in the Ignatian Exercises.”
