The 19th Annotation of the Spiritual Exercises

A 9–12 Month Journey of Deep Prayer, Discernment, and Spiritual Transformation

What Is the 19th Annotation?

The 19th Annotation is a full version of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, adapted for daily life. Rather than stepping away for a 30-day retreat, participants commit to a sustained rhythm of daily prayer, reflection, and weekly spiritual direction over 9–12 months. This sacred journey deepens intimacy with God, sharpens spiritual discernment, and invites lasting inner transformation.

“The genius and beauty of the Exercises is that we learn to weave our own life narrative into the life story of Jesus Christ in such a way that both become more vivid and interconnected.”
— Kevin O’Brien, SJ (The Ignatian Adventure)
